Born and raised on an acreage in Beresford, SD, only 30 miles South of Sioux Falls, Jeff is proud to still call South Dakota home. As a husband and father, his greatest motivation is showing his sons what's possible, and that same drive fuels everything he does for his clients every day.
Jeff's Background
Jeff began his career in auto sales and financing before moving into mortgage lending in 2005. From his first year in the industry, he focused on building a reputation as a lender who educates first and sells second, a philosophy that has defined his approach ever since.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has been involved in thousands of real estate transactions spanning first-time homebuyers, move-up purchases, refinancing, debt consolidation, cash-out refinancing, fast closings, relocation financing, and virtually every loan program available, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA Rural Development, Jumbo, and Reverse Mortgage (HECM) loans. He is also a Certified Retirement Mortgage Specialist, bringing focused expertise to help older homeowners explore financing solutions designed for retirement.
Beyond originating loans, Jeff has built and led mortgage and real estate teams, developed other industry professionals, and contributed to Fairway Heartland's growth and leadership across Southeast South Dakota.
